Deprivation of Liberty & Mental Capacity
This is a six-hour course combining two courses into one which looks at deprivation of liberty standards and the Mental Capacity Act. Learners will learn about the acts and their expectations on care services and staff. This is delivered in a fun and educational manner with lots of activities within that challenge learners knowledge and skill set.
Dementia Awareness
This course is a 6 hour course where learners will be made aware of the types of dementia and the impact it can have on people. We will look at the effects of the brain and the behaviours that can occur as a result, This course will cover risk management of dementia service users. This will cover the importance of stimuli & Communication for dementia service users.
Dealing with Grief & Bereavement
This course is for 12 hrs in total designed for professionals within the care field or anyone with an interest to help them deal with members of the family on ways to help with Bereavement. This will provide basic counselling skills by an experienced trainer set over a period of two days.

Safeguarding Adults
Here Learners will learn more about Protecting an adult’s right to live in safety,
free from abuse and neglect. The course will look at people and organisations who work together to prevent and stop both the risks and experience of abuse or neglect, while at the same time making sure that the adult’s well-being is promoted constantly.
Equality, Diversity & Discrimination
Here Learners will learn all about what is meant by each of the words “equality”, “diversity” and “discrimination”.
The different types of discrimination and the meaning of positive interactions.
differences between positive action and positive discrimination within many cultures.
This course will cover values and beliefs and how they impact on the way we treat others.
How institutional discrimination can effect the people we work with.
The implications of the Equality Act 2010 on businesses and individuals we work with and the importance of adopting British values with our societies.
Infection Prevention & Control covering Covid-19
This course will cover all about prevention methods, pathogenic and none pathogenic bacteria, the importance of personal protective equipment. This course will give learners the knowledge around laws and Legislations around infection and prevention measures. This would be delivered in a unique style of delivery. All our courses are for 12 learners maximum.
First Aid Awareness
This course will give learners the essential skills for life saving first aid. This course can be adapted to suit each Client group depending on your area of work. This is a very interactive course with an assessment that learners role play a scenario. There are several levels of first aid which you can access but this one is the base minimum level required.

Behavior That Challenges
They will learn the importance of effective communication which is vital to their role, looking at reflection following episodes of behaviour that challenges. Learners will also explore the support available to maintain their own well-being. They will learn about Behaviour that challenges and how these make form of expression. They will learn about the issues around restrictive practice. Some Techniques will be taught as per mapper guidance for staff in break away techniques.
Learning Disabilities
This course is on Learning disability training that will give knowledge and skills to deal with Learning disabilities and the challenges it may bring. They will understand the various types of learning disability and how these can affect care practices. As learning disabilities take many forms, Carers will be able to think better during challenging situations.
Mental Health Awareness
This Mental Health Awareness Training will raise awareness of ill-mental health conditions like stress, depression and anxiety, provides tools and information for managing daily living and aims to remove the stigma surrounding mental health Conditions, this is a very interactive training with activities and clips.
